Swamp Donkey's Seafood

I ordered crawfish for them for Mother’s Day weekend. I got them Friday, not knowing that they went and survive until Sunday. I called the owner asked him what I could do to keep them alive and he said exact words I’m sorry, sweetheart. You should’ve said that you needed them for Sunday please keep them on ice for tonight. Bring them back to me in the morning and I will give you fresh ones on Sunday so your Mother’s Day will turn out good so that’s what I did and I could not be more pleased with the size the quality the service just everything about the owner of this place is just amazing. Not only did he go above and beyond to help. Make sure my Mother’s Day was good. I don’t know any other business would’ve took back two huge socks of crawfish without charging me. This business is the only one I will use when it comes to crawfish. Thank you, Billy.

They have the best crawfish. They have different flavors heat levels. I always get the hotter than your sisters girlfriend flavor which is very spicy but so good. The size of the crawfish are a pretty good size. The eggs with crawfish are even better. They also sell live sacks but you would have to call before you go to make sure they still have them available. You can eat there or go through the drive thru. I like to get there right when they open and dont have many cars waiting. Last time i had to spend a hour waiting in line when i go around 2pm. And they run out of eggs fast. If you do decide to eat outside where they have tables you might have a hard time looking for a spot to park or get out the parking lot due to limited space.

3/28/25. This was my first trip to Swamp Donkeys in a couple years. The crawfish were absolutely delicious and nice size. We ordered the spicy garlic and i highly recommend them. The right amount of heat, awesome peel and absolutely juicy! Corn, potatoes, and especially the boiled eggs were clutch! Ready to go back already!

This place has set the bar for crawfish in my opinion. Great flavor, huge mud bugs, reasonable price. The sides, you request how many or how much you want so there is no getting skimped. They also have a drive thru so you can get em and go. If you want to sit, they have plenty of covered seating. They also have a little play area for the kids, one is a water slide. We will definitely be back! Update 5/9/24 Swamps is still killing it with the best mud bugs around. Prices this year have gotten a little ridiculous but swamps has been decent, today's special was 5lbs for $25 and you can't get much better on price than that. I finally tried their hottest flavor, "hotter than your girlfriends sister", and let me tell you... they are hot but you still get the awesome flavor. I've already been here twice this season and plan on going more before the season is done. If you've never been I highly recommend you give em a try. Update 10/20/24 They are still the best around for crawfish, but now they are doing all you can eat crab for the off season. Still highly recommend trying them out, sooooo good.

Ummmm, BYOB, I'm in. Craw fish was perfectly seasoned, too! Enjoyed everything. I prefer the seats under the permanent shade, but you may just need to sit where you can, it can get busy here. Great value for how perfectly cooked the seafood and veggies were.

We love our crawfish. My sister in law got me hooked on them a few years back. My sister in law has been going to Swamp Donkeys since they first opened up. She always makes sure to bring me along when we're back home in Texas. They've always made sure that our food is hot and delicious. They spice the crawfish real well, and their potatoes are delicious. Their sausages are great. And if you like hot, get their mushrooms, they got a spicy heat. There's outside covered seating.They don't care if you bring your own drinks, so we always pack a little cooler full of soda pop and tea. The waitresses Very efficient and Customer driven.

Has to be my favorite.. so glad they put one closer to me on 4710 Atascocita Rd.. from the crawfish cooker who is really cool to all of the laddies that take orders and serve. These crawfish are some of the best.. Garlic Spicy/Extra Spicy is my fkavor of choice.. Don't hesitate to visit for good crawfish and good service. And oh yea size matters!!
